Antique Brass Revolving Book Stand

Rare antique brass revolving bookstand featuring a repousse eagle design, along with a brass carrying handle.  The stand rests on a brass wrapped wooden octagonal mount that allows for rotation.   

It is as found, in good, antique condition with some missing brass nails and screws.  There are areas of wear and rust, as well as verdigris, which adds character and charm. Please note that the stand may require some adjustment to turn more smoothly.  A must-have for those who appreciate unique, imperfect beauty.
